Pascale Campus – “AMORE in oncology” will be an important appointment in Capri that will allow to contribute to the realization of the program of AMORE project – World Alliance in Oncology, proposed in May, 2019, during the 160th Anniversary of the birth of the Founder G. Pascale. The progressive increase of average life, mutated styles of life and irrepressible increase of environmental contamination are determining the bigger incidence (and prevalence) of oncological diseases. Technology and drugs (based on the better knowledge of the etiopathogenesis and development of mutations that generate neoplasms) allow to cure / eradicate some tumors and make other chronic, guaranteeing long-term survival of patients; results that only 10 years ago seemed to be impossible. These two constantly growing phenomena (increased incidence and optimization of therapies) require for all those who fight against cancer not to stop at the size of a single patient but to think about global systems. Our deep ethical motivations prevent us from thinking that in the future only some economically advanced nations will be able to have access to the best treatment but we like working on the idea to guaranty to all cancer patients in the world the possibility to have fair and effective treatments. The Capri meeting will continue our joint project and will also lay the foundations for further collaboration in the field of advanced therapies and molecular diagnostics, with particular attention to immunotherapy, including innovative therapy of Car-T cells (Chimeric antigen receptor T cell – T lymphocytes genetically modified with chimeric antigenic receptors). The Pascale Campus requires not only the definition of scientific rules according to the National Health Programs and support of the PJD (Patient Journey of the Disease) but also the creation of a working group that can redesign New Social Pacts between Management of the cancer patient and Scientific Community , Scientific Community and Patient, Patient and Institution.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] The Capri Campus program will be organized on the basis of the most frequent oncological pathologies according to the following scheme: [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1580916110445{padding-top: 20px !important;}”] [/vc_column_text] October 21, 2020 October 22-25, 2020[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”EVENT LOCATION” title_align=”separator_align_left” align=”align_right” color=”black”][vc_column_text] Via Ignazio Cerio, 2b – 80073 Capri (NA)[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”CME” title_align=”separator_align_left” align=”align_right” color=”black”][vc_column_text]The CME Provider Capri Event Srl (Provider n. 2174) has included event n. 279612 Ed. 1 “Pascale Campus – AMORE in Oncology” in Educational Program assigning 11.9 educational credits.[/vc_column_text]
